ESCROW ACCOUNTS
At Switzerlart we have the possibility of acting through an escrow account to ensure the security of your transactions. Escrow accounts are a mechanism through which both buyer and seller gain in peace of mind. This is achieved thanks to the fact that the amount of the transaction is channelled firstly to an external party outside the deal, instead of paying it directly to the seller. This party is called an escrow agent.
Commonly, the money is not transferred to the account of the seller until the product, or service, arrives correctly to the buyer, so that, the last one has the guarantee that the money will be returned in the case of no receiving what it has been paid for. On the other hand, the use of an escrow account prevents last minute changes since the initially agreed price is already deposited.
